More Than Tours – Real Portuguese Experiences
After 22 years as a professional in the fashion business, I began my journey in tourism as a local guide in Porto, my hometown in Portugal. Working with several tourism companies across different markets gave me the opportunity to realize that most of them lack something fundamental to us: the human factor — the true sharing between host and visitor, between life and experiences, between love and genuine connections.
I also came to understand that, despite the mass of tourism, many companies offer tours that are almost identical. These experiences often fail to reveal the true essence of Portugal and its people. This is how Tours By Tiago was born — a project where every person and every experience is unique, thoughtfully designed according to each visitor’s interests, rhythm, and expectations.
Beyond private and small-group tours, TBT carefully designs the entire journey in Portugal, from itinerary planning to accommodation. We take care of hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, and the selection of authentic experiences, ensuring a seamless, personalised, and meaningful stay from beginning to end.
